Rotate PDF pages
Fix a sideways scan or an upside-down page: rotate the whole document or just the pages you name, by 90, 180 or 270 degrees, without uploading it.

How to rotate PDF pages
- Drop the PDF into “Your files”.
- Say “rotate it 90 degrees” or “rotate page 3 upside down”. In the settings form, rotate is already chosen.
- Leave the pages blank to turn every page, or name them, such as 2,4.
- Preview the result and download it from Results.
Things you can type: rotate it 90 degrees rotate page 1 upside down
Which way it turns
90° turns a page a quarter clockwise, 180° turns it upside down, and 270° is a quarter anticlockwise. The rotation is added to whatever the page already had, so rotating a page that was set to 90° by another 90° leaves it at 180°.
The page content is not redrawn: the PDF records the new orientation, so text stays sharp and selectable.
Scans are the usual suspect
A scanner that guesses orientation page by page produces a document that is mostly upright with a few sideways pages. Name just those pages and the rest stay as they were. For other page jobs, the PDF page editor merges, splits and reorders.
Phone photos turned into PDFs are the other usual culprit: the picture is stored sideways with a note saying which way is up, and some apps ignore the note. Rotating here fixes what every reader shows.
This page runs the PDF page editor, set up for one job. Open that page for everything it can do.
Questions
Rotate PDF: common questions
Can I rotate only one page?
Yes. Name it — “rotate page 3 by 90 degrees” — or enter it in the Pages box of the settings form.
Does rotating reduce quality?
No. Only the page’s orientation setting changes; nothing is re-rendered or compressed.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. It is changed in this browser tab.
